Archbishop Launches ACK Bungoma Madeline School in Bungoma County
Yesterday 18th January, the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), the most Rev Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit, officially launched the ACK Bungoma Madeline school in Bungoma County.
The event was hosted by the Bishop of ACK Bungoma Rt. Rev George Mechumo and attended by host of guests including the project sponsors from Yatima Outreach and Orphan Outreach, Diocesan Bishops, clergy, administration, CEO of ADS-Western, parents, learners and the community.
During the ceremony, Archbishop Sapit emphasized the importance of embracing the new Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) in order to make the most of the resources available. He acknowledged that the establishment of this school is not only a huge step forward for the facility, but it also represents a significant contribution to the education and development of the local community.
The school, will provide access to quality education to the local community, thus empowering the next generation and paving the way for a brighter future. The school is equipped with modern facilities and staffed with highly qualified teachers, ensuring that students receive the best education possible.
The event was filled with joy and excitement as the community celebrated the opening of the new school. The Archbishop cut the ribbon, officially opening the school to the students and the community. The school is committed to providing students with the tools they need to succeed and achieve their full potential.
